CFC: Corporate Fitness Challenge

Overview

1. The challenge is a 6-week workplace overhaul that inspires employees to move more and eat better. It works because employees are accountable to themselves, each other and their coaches.

2. The challenge accommodates employees of all ages, fitness abilities and schedules. A team of personal trainers will coach the workplace through lasting change.

3. Trainers will create personalized exercise programs for employees, offer a healthy menu to follow and will foster team work and accountability.

4. The program is a short-term commitment with long-term benefits. It is a modest investment with a huge return. The program offers many options for exercise and does not require employees to join a fitness facility.

5. Participants are asked to meet with a coach three times over the course of 6 weeks for goal setting, as well as exercise and diet coaching. They are connected to their coach and teammates via email and have access to optional weekly group workouts.

6. The average participant loses 8 to 10 lbs and 8 to 10 inches, reports improved sleep pattern and improved energy level. Many participants improve health enough to reduce or eliminate medications for high cholesterol and high blood pressure. Workplaces report happier, more energized employees who support each other in living healthy.

7. The challenge is carried out worldwide. In fact, right now, there are Corporate Fit Challenges taking place from the French Riviera and across the United States and Canada.

What business should join the Challenge?

We work with non-profits, local government, police and fire personnel, schools, locally owned businesses and large chains. Smaller businesses with a few employees can join together.

Who should join the Challenge?

We encourage the leaders of the workplace to participate. Leaders set the tone! All employees should participate, from couch potatoes to the fitness enthusiasts. Coaches tailor the program to individual goals and needs. Experiencing the Challenge together is powerful.

Spouses or other adult family members should participate. It is easier to have everyone at home eating the same healthy meals, removing junk food from the pantry and becoming active together.
